Online Notarization allows you to have your documents notarized over the Internet regardless of where you are in the world. The CenTex Mobile Notaries use the SigniX platform, a leader in the industry. **Please note: We currently do not offer same day online service.**

The State of Texas requires that all online notarizations be recorded with video and audio. Please review the requirements below.

- It is convenient, you can be anywhere in the world.
- If there are multiple parties signing the document, they do not have to be in the same location.
- It is easier to schedule as traffic is no longer a concern.
- Documents can be downloaded and emailed or printed.
- Accepted across the United States, except Iowa.
- Be a US citizen.
- Have a valid Social Security number
- Have a valid US state issued driver license.
- Have a valid US state issued identification card.
- Have a credit history of 5 years or more because most of the third party providers derive most of their information from the credit bureaus.

- Desktop or laptop with webcam and microphone
- A mobile device capable of receiving a text and accessing the internet.
- Although the platform CenTex Mobile Notary uses does work with a cell phone or tablet, we require that all signers use a desktop or laptop with a camera and microphone for all but the identity document verification.
- Ability to access email from the desktop or laptop.
- Ability to take photos ID and face and upload.
- Secure Internet connection with at least a 2 Mbps up/download speed.
- The online meeting uses Zoom. You can access it on a desktop or laptop through a browser.
- Please communication with the recipient of the document to determine if they will accept an online notarized document. Many financial institutions will not.
- Documents must be in PDF format to upload to the platform. I can accept a Word document and convert it to a PDF.
- Email to remote@centexmobilenotary.com.
- For your safety, please put documents in a password protected zip file. Do not apply a password to the documents as they cannot be uploaded to the platform I use.
- Notary Certificates must be Texas online compliant. Notary certificates must meet the minimum statutory requirements. Click to view sample certificates at the Texas SOS site. We cannot advise you which one to use but you can match them up to what is already on your document and add. In many instances, the notary is able to add some language during the document setup.
- The venue is always State of Texas and County of Travis. It is always where the notary is.
- Keep in mind, online signed and notarized documents are digital documents. The PDF is considered the original, all documents printed from the PDF are considered copies. If the document is to be recorded, verify with the county clerk of the receiving county that the digital document will be accepted.
- Wills cannot be electronically signed. All other estate documents can be notarized online.
- Documents for use outside of the USA that will have to have an apostille certificate attached.
- Documents such at motor vehicle title transfers where the Notary may be required to certify an odometer reading.
- Any other document requiring an odometer reading.
- Document for use in Iowa.
- Certified true copies of driver licenses, passports, birth, marriage, and death certificates, other recordable documents such as deeds and divorce decrees.
- Any document previously notarized by another online notary.
